## Installation
* Run AXISDeviceManagerSetup.exe and follow the instructions.  
* If Microsoft .NET 4.8 is not already installed, it will be installed automatically (included in the installer).  
* Ensure you have full administrator rights on the computer.

## Uninstallation
* Go to Start → Control Panel → Programs and Features → Uninstall.

## Known Limitations in AXIS Device Manager
* For operating systems that Microsoft has discontinued (Windows 10 and earlier, Windows Server 2016 and earlier), Axis can only provide best‑effort technical support.  
* If devices are upgraded and factory‑defaulted to AXIS OS 12 or later simultaneously, some devices may fail to authenticate. In such cases, they must be removed from the inventory and re‑imported.
